Ngombi is a traditional African Harp. This information I discovered after taking an old and interesting musical instrument from the street. I discovered that such kind of harp was widely known in Central Africa, particularly in a country called Gabon. Consist of a wooden body, covered with antelope skin and a wood neck fitted with tuning pegs Played mostly by men, harps use for entertainment, ceremonial and ritual functions. For example, the religious organization known as Bwiti, the biggest religious group in Gabon, uses shelf harps for a type of spiritual communication between the living and the dead.
