The Golden Gate And Viking Burial In Kyiv
In the early 11th century Kyiv town was widen by Kyiv prince Yaroslavl the Wise. He built the Golden gate, defense walls and deep moat. It can compare to the Golden Gate in Constantinople.
One hundred years ago nearby the Golden Gate accidently there was found worrier burial. Probably he was a Viking worrier who worked for Kyiv prince and buried there with honor His equipment you can see in the Museum of Historical Treasures of Ukraine.
